Your appointment

At your first appointment the osteopath will take a detailed case history including some questions about your symptoms and general health. This enables us to effectively diagnose and treat your condition. An examination will then follow where the osteopath will ask you to perform a series of simple movements to make a diagnosis and treatment plan. Your osteopath will discuss your diagnosis and treatment plan with you and check you are happy to proceed.

Please note: In order to gain accurate information it is usual to be asked to remove outer clothing down to your underwear. If you feel more comfortable with a friend or relative present please don't hesitate to ask.
